2. Get some ETH or DAI, USDC, USDT on Ethereum.

On August 29th that ratio is roughly 8:5:4:3 DAI, WETH(bridged in ETH), USDC, USDT. Basically if you spread your swaps across more pairs, there's more liquidity and less slippage giving you more bang for the buck.
